Order Placement

Once you have placed an order we will send you an email confirming that your order has been received.

If for any reason we are unable to fulfil any part of the order, we will notify you as soon as is practical and refund your payment method. This does not affect your statutory rights.

When placing an order, please ensure that the information you give is accurate and complete. To make changes to your order please contact us immediately. We will do our best to make amendments prior to despatch, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once an order is processed.

Payment

We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card, debit card, PayPal or Amazon pay. All major credit/debit cards are accepted.

Returns Policy

Here at The Clothing Outlet Ltd we make every effort to provide you with an enjoyable online shopping experience and we pay close attention to your order and shipping details so we can ensure that you receive a product you are happy with. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you are welcome to return the item for refund or exchange.

If you would like to return an item please ensure that it is unworn, un-tampered with, and in its original packaging and we will happily offer you a refund or an exchange within 30 days of receipt.

If you are returning swimwear, please ensure the gusset protector is still in place.

We regret that for reasons of hygiene, brief packs cannot be returned for exchange or refund once the original packaging has been removed unless the item is faulty or not as described

Return postage cost and method is the responsibility of the customer.

If you are a UK customer we will exchange an item free of charge, however if you are an International customer and would like an exchange, you will have to pay the exchange shipping fees.

Unfortunately manufacturing faults do occasionally occur. In the unlikely event you receive a faulty item (or is not the item you have ordered), please contact our customer service team on enquiries@theclothingoutlet.co.uk or telephone +44 (0) 1132 905714 We endeavour to respond to e-mails within 24 hours except during weekends and public holiday periods, in which case we will respond on the next working day.

Once we have received your item back, please allow 2-5 business days for your request to be processed.

Please note that all returns will be inspected before any request is processed. If we find your return to be worn, tampered with or in an otherwise non-resalable condition we will not be able to accept them for a refund or exchange. Swimwear bottoms should be tried on over your own briefs.

To avoid damage to the item while it is in your care please ensure you take extra care when opening the mail bag and tear it gently; we will not be responsible for products damaged by scissors when opened.

It is also advisable to try clothing on away from pets and food, or anything which may cause a strong odour. This also applies to children’s wear – we will not accept returns which are marked with food or any other stains.

If we have sent you the wrong item or your item is faulty, we must be contacted with photographic proof so we can advise on the best way to proceed and whether or not the item should be returned to us. If an item is sent back without authorisation and confirmation of the error by a member of our customer service team then we will be unable to refund your return postage.

Please note that although we have made every effort to account for colour differences across monitors, we cannot be held responsible for slight colour variations.

If you have ordered the wrong item or confirmed an incorrect details or delivery  address, please contact us immediately to request a change, and we will endeavour to make the necessary changes. However if your request is not received in time and your order has entered picking and packing, we cannot be held responsible if the order is despatched without the change applied. Please double check everything before ordering your item.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, orders cancelled within 7 days and/or prior to dispatch will be cancelled in full, including postage charges. Orders which have been dispatched under our Free Delivery option and are cancelled within 7 days will be refunded in full. Orders dispatched by the additional delivery method of Next Day Delivery which have been purchased by the customer at the point of checkout will not be refunded if the item is subsequently returned to us.

When returning parcels to us please make sure your Certificate of Posting is stamped at the Post Office. We also recommend that you insure the parcel for the value of the items you are returning. The parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us, therefore, any parcels not received at our warehouse will not be refunded.

If a faulty item is sent back to us via Special Delivery, without our prior approval, we will not refund this return postage cost.

If your item is returned to us due to not being collected or the provided address being incorrect or incomplete, we will contact customers via phone or email to confirm if the parcel should be re-dispatched and any additional postage charges incurred will be advised at this point.

In the unlikely event that you do not receive your package, please contact us.

Our Free Delivery option is Royal Mail 2nd class post, and this is not a tracked service, so please allow 5 working days for delivery before contacting us. We do offer First Class Post and Next Day Delivery options as additional services should you require your item more quickly.

Orders over the value of £19.96 are dispatched via Hermes or Yodel tracked service and you will receive an e-mail notifying you of dispatch with a link to track your item.

Occasionally your parcel may take longer to arrive than specified, especially during Christmas peak mailing period, so please be patient! If your tracking number for a tracked delivery shows that the item has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact our customer service team who will be happy to assist.

Prices shown on the site are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Import duty, custom charges and delivery surcharges may apply to your delivery country. The courier will contact you directly prior to delivery if charges apply to your order. Check with your local or national Tax or Customs office for further details as we are not held responsible for such charges. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you.
